Always enjoy the writing, but this time I’m seeking advice. I have not yet tried the Amazon MP3’s but always see the deals they offer and guess it’s time to breakdown and do it. Am curious about how well it works with the Itunes library. Advice or comments…anybody? Thanks!
It works flawlessly. You install the Amazon MP3 Downloader the first time, from then on you simply click download and the songs are automatically added to iTunes.
Bought the Deer Tick… haven’t had time to listen to it yet, but I’m looking forward to it. It took me a while to get into the last album, but I ended up really liking it.
This is off topic, but what do you know about Orion, the recent Ryan Adams record? As in, is it good, where can one find it (besides paying many dollars on ebay), etc. Thanks for any info.
@Kate
I grabbed Orion when it was still available for presale. Unless you’re a completest collector like me, I wouldn’t drop the money on eBay – which is the only place I know to get it now. It’s just not that good. Strange concept with strange lyrics that all center around galactic war (just check out the laughable song titles). The artwork is the coolest part of it all.
Soon enough, you’ll be able to find the digital version online (illegally) somewhere.
Good stuff, but we need another RA artist spotlight post. Orion is out plus Cardinals II/IV in the works. It’s time!!
You’re right, it is time. Cold Roses is next in line, so it’s quite an endeavor. I’ve recently found it harder to find things to write about other than album release info. But if Ryan can get back to making new (or at least releasing old) music, then I guess I can try to get back to regular posting. Time and energy permitting, of course…
I like the way guitar sounds, but not the voice frankly saying…
Are you ok Payton..No Updates?
I’m alive!
Just haven’t been feeling the inspiration lately – also been pretty busy with my day job.
I’ll come back one day when I feel it – just don’t want to force it.
Very nice site! is it yours too http://oieypxa.com/kyxyok/4.html
